32. Video týdne: Daniel Mariblanca

Na 37. roč­ní­ku ber­lín­ské­ho taneč­ní­ho fes­ti­va­lu Tanz im August může­me už za pár dní (13. — 30. 8.) vidět i uni­kát­ní pro­jekt Danie­la Mari­blan­cy … jsme zvě­da­ví a napja­tí, a tak si v letoš­ním 32. „Videu týd­ne” uká­že­me prá­vě Danie­lo­vu cho­re­o­gra­fii, a nechá­me je o sobě říct pár slov:

„My name is Daniel. I am a transse­xu­al per­son with a fluid gen­der iden­ti­ty. I was born in Bar­ce­lo­na 35 years ago. My pas­si­ons are dan­ce, per­for­man­ce, the­a­t­re and being on stage. The adre­na­li­ne kick I get from being on stage is irre­sis­ti­ble. I also love music, par­ticu­lar­ly baroque music. Hen­ry Pur­cell is my favou­ri­te com­poser, and I think that the voice of Phi­lip­pe Jaroussky is extre­me­ly beau­ti­ful. I am married to an ama­zing woman. We have two fan­tas­tic dogs. I admi­re my mother. She gives me the uncon­di­ti­o­nal love which allows me to be who I am, and the sup­port to follow my dreams.

I am a dan­cer. I am a part­ner. I am a warri­or. I am a cre­a­tor. I am a lover.

I am a son and a sis­ter and a brother.

I am.”
