Co nás drží pohro­ma­dě v pro­měn­li­vém svě­tě? Při­ro­ze­ný řád věcí, ryt­mus pří­rod­ních záko­nů. Taneč­ní­ci sou­bo­ru GN|MC – Guy Nader & Maria Cam­pos vta­hu­jí divá­ka do cyk­lic­ké­ho prou­du pohy­bu, v němž se mini­ma­lis­tic­ké moti­vy vrst­ví, gra­du­jí a zno­vu se navra­ce­jí k původ­ní­mu pul­zu. Bri­lant­ní part­ne­ři­na, prá­ce s váhou a fyzi­kál­ní­mi limi­ty těl vytvá­ří orga­nic­ký sys­tém při­po­mí­na­jí­cí pří­rod­ní pro­ce­sy – křeh­ké a přes­to odol­né. Har­mo­nie a este­ti­ka zde sto­jí v jem­ném pro­tes­tu pro­ti cha­o­su; krá­sou a sou­hrou brá­ní roz­pa­du, stej­ně jako pří­ro­da sama.

Chris­tos Papa­do­pou­los vytvá­ří hyp­no­tic­kou struk­tu­ru z mik­ro pohy­bů, ryt­mic­kých frá­zí, výdechů i hla­sů – proud, kte­rý gra­du­je do exta­tic­ké­ho závě­ru. Jeho nové dílo ztě­les­ňu­je nej­vyš­ší for­mu mini­ma­lis­mu: mis­trov­sky sla­dě­ná sku­pi­na taneč­ní­ků se pohy­bu­je v doko­na­le syn­chron­ním ryt­mu, kte­rý záro­veň nechá­vá pro­stor pro indi­vi­du­a­li­tu a při­ro­ze­nost kaž­dé­ho z nich. My Fier­ce Igno­rant Stepje cho­re­o­gra­fic­kou medi­ta­cí o odva­ze, mlá­dí a život­ní energii.

Praž­ský pro­gram bude mimo­řád­ně pes­t­rý a nabíd­ne pub­li­ku jak špič­ko­vá díla zahra­nič­ních tvůr­ců, tak kopro­duk­ce čes­kých uměl­ců ve spo­lu­prá­ci s osob­nost­mi z Evropy. 

Dva­krát zaví­tá­me na Jatka78, jed­nak s mimo­řád­ným kame­run­ským mul­ti­uměl­cem Zorou Sna­kem, jed­nak s dob­ře zná­mou řec­ko-slo­ven­skou tvůr­čí dvo­ji­cí Lin­da Kape­ta­nea – Jozef Fru­ček. 

Diva­dlo Ponec ote­vře své brá­ny Izra­el­kám a Špa­něl­kám ve dvou napros­to kon­trast­ních due­tech vypo­ví­da­jí­cích o žen­ské ener­gii, odol­nos­ti a nad­hle­du. Tato scé­na pak bude pat­řit pri­o­rit­ně tvor­bě pro děti v podá­ní uměl­ců z Itá­lie, Čech i Ukra­ji­ny. Fami­ly Fri­en­dlypřed­sta­vu­je zásad­ní pro­gra­mo­vou linii nejen v Pra­ze, ale i regi­o­nech ČR.

Do cca 20 měst a obcí zaví­ta­jí i uměl­ci, kte­ří uspě­li v evrop­ské plat­for­mě Aerowa­ves. Jejich kon­cep­tům vyho­vu­jí nedi­va­del­ní pro­sto­ry, např. i klid­ná vod­ní hla­di­na. Při­je­dou z Lotyš­ska a Fran­cie. Svý­mi Open Air pro­jek­ty je dopl­ní Fran­cou­zi, Špa­ně­lé, Ita­lo­vé i domá­cí tvůrci.

The Advent ticket pre­sa­le for TANEC PRAHA 2026 events has begun!

Pra­gue, Decem­ber 9, 2025: The 38th edi­ti­on of the inter­nati­o­nal fes­ti­val TANEC PRAHA will be ope­ned on the 1st of June, 2026, in the Ponec the­a­t­re, by the Leba­ne­se-Spa­nish duo Guy Nader & Maria Cam­pos, with the­ir group of dan­cers and acro­bats. The­ir per­for­man­ce Natu­ral Order of Things has alrea­dy enjoyed much cri­ti­cal acc­laim. The equally pro­mi­nent Gre­ek cho­re­o­gra­pher Chris­tos Papa­do­pou­los will take care of the cere­mo­nial clo­sing of the fes­ti­val on the 23rd of June in the Kar­lín Musi­cal The­a­t­re. My Fier­ce Igno­rant Step pro­mi­ses a thril­ling spectacle.

Yvo­na Kre­u­zman­no­vá, the foun­der and direc­tor of the fes­ti­val, says, “This year’s fes­ti­val lif­ted audi­en­ces out of the­ir seats on nume­rous occasi­ons. I belie­ve that the same will be true in 2026. The cre­a­tors of the main events, the ope­ning and clo­sing of the TANEC PRAHA 2026 fes­ti­val, will both return after 10 years. What holds us toge­ther in a world that is con­stant­ly chan­ging? The natu­ral order of things — the rhy­thm of nature’s laws. The dan­cers of GN|MC (Guy Nader & Maria Cam­pos) draw the audi­en­ce into a cyc­li­cal stre­am of move­ment, whe­re mini­ma­list motifs layer, intensi­fy, and con­ti­nu­ally return to the­ir ori­gi­nal pul­se. The­ir bril­li­ant part­ne­ring, work with wei­ght, and tes­ting of the body’s phy­s­i­cal limits cre­a­te an orga­nic sys­tem remi­nis­cent of natu­ral pro­ces­ses — fragi­le, yet remar­kably resi­li­ent. Har­mo­ny and aesthe­tic cla­ri­ty stand here as a gent­le pro­test aga­inst cha­os; throu­gh beau­ty and cohesi­on, they resist disin­te­grati­on, just as natu­re itself does.

Chris­tos Papa­do­pou­los builds a hyp­no­tic structu­re from micro-move­ments, rhy­thmic phra­ses, bre­aths, and voices — a current that intensi­fies until it rea­ches an ecsta­tic conclusi­on. His newest work embo­dies the purest form of mini­ma­lism: a mas­ter­fully attu­ned group of dan­cers moves in per­fect­ly syn­chro­ni­zed rhy­thm that still lea­ves spa­ce for each performer’s indi­vi­du­a­li­ty and natu­ral pre­sen­ce. My Fier­ce Igno­rant Step is a cho­re­o­gra­phic medi­tati­on on cou­rage, you­th, and vital energy.

The Pra­gue pro­gra­m­me will be excep­ti­o­nally diver­se, offe­ring audi­en­ces per­for­man­ces of the best inter­nati­o­nal cre­a­tors, as well as co-pro­ducti­ons of Czech artists in colla­bo­rati­on with vari­ous per­so­na­li­ties from Europe. 

Twi­ce, we will visit Jatka78, once with the excep­ti­o­nal, mul­ti-talen­ted Came­ro­o­ni­an artist Zora Sna­ke, then aga­in with the well known Gre­ek-Slo­va­ki­an duo Lin­da Kape­ta­nea — Jozef Fruček.

The Ponec the­a­t­re will open its gates to Isra­e­li and Spa­nish artists in two dia­me­t­ri­cally oppo­sed duets which the­ma­ti­se femi­ni­ne ener­gy, resi­li­en­ce and per­specti­ve. This sce­ne will then pri­o­ri­ti­se per­for­man­ces for chil­dren, deli­ve­red by artists from Ita­ly, the Czech Repub­lic and Ukra­i­ne. Fami­ly Fri­en­dly intro­du­ces a pro­mi­nent the­me in this year’s pro­gra­m­me, not only in Pra­gue, but also in the regions.

20 towns and muni­ci­pa­li­ties will be visi­ted also by artists, who were selec­ted throu­gh the Euro­pe­an Aerowa­ves plat­form. The­ir con­cepts are focused on non-the­a­t­re spa­ces, even sim­ply a calm water sur­fa­ce. They will arri­ve from Lat­via and Fran­ce. French, Spa­nish, Ita­li­an and local cre­a­tors will fill in the pro­gra­m­me with the­ir own Open Air projects.
